This is a continued from the Hatching on the Plot Board so feel free to check it out if you havnt.
You could have Valoryn take a few NPC riders of those she really trusts to smash a few pre-hatching. Then during the hatching have a NPC rider that shows up again but gets caught.
If you want to do Valoryn Spaceman and and two maybe three(to reduce the chance of getting caught) others each want to play NPC riders to smash a few eggs pre hatching, I was thinking 1 egg each, maybe drop one between.
Then someone play the NPC rider who comes to the hatching, but gets caught.
I'm also open to other suggestions/NPC ideas if we have more people wanting to play NPCs and be part of this plot than we have slots for.
For the NPC rider who gets caught, the person playing him/her should be aware that they need to be able to play the person until the Weyr/Weyrleaders decide what to do with them.
So far we have Pre-Hatching Valoryn-spaceman NPC Rider-V'gor of Bronze Tranth played by Faerie Fyre NPC Rider-K'lor and Blue Wexsyth or P'nuk played by midnight
Hatching NPC Rider Who Gets Caught-C'ber Rider of Blue Higanth played by Ayla Traitor Rider of Skysong: Kishel of Blue Reyenth played by Astarte

I'll volunteer for the one who gets caught. The rider's name is C'ber, and his blue's name is Higanth.

Kishel of Blue Reyenth will be very much in on this plot. Just as soon as I submit her.
Although she is...persuasive. Anyone who wants to catch her as the traitor will have to work fast and hard. She's a very canny creature. (:

I'll take an NPC pre-Hatching. V'gor, rider of bronze Tranth.

I'll take an NPC for before the Hatching...K'lor and blue Wexsyth
Or, P'nuk could do it. He'd probably obey the Weyrwoman, even if the thought of killing eggs made him upset.

Alright, due to commentation by midnight to me in a private forum.. I've decided that somethign big will be happening. While the people are off smashing eggs. The Rebellion is taking this moment to make their move to leave. During said retreat, we need people and Riders to become aware of what is happening. Thusly, they will put the Rebels under attack. There will be damage dealt for this, and NPC's are welcome.

Plot thread is up on Skysong's Hatching Grounds!
Ame, if you need me to run an NPC to try to foil the Rebels, I'd be happy to. ^^

That'd work out perfectly Space. I mentioned in my plot thread that the Watchdragons have changed. If you want to NPC a Candidate or a dragonpair at their meeting, to overhear her plans. So that they can be fouled. That would be good too. There is a high possibility of a death or two happening. So people be warned. I will be NPcing Riders and Dragons as well.
I do not believe that the Rebellion is known to the Weyrwoman, I think it's something that a select group of Riders have known of, and will go against. Basically people like Old Fortian Riders. People that believe Valoryn is right, and the mutated dragons have finally shown their true colors.

*nod nod* Well, currently Valoryn still thinks that Innaria is her trusted right hand, so somehow I don't think she knows about the Rebellion. XD
I'll throw in a brown Watchdragon or something who happens to overhear and think they're deserting, is that okay?

I'll throw in an old Bronzerider who is very loyal to Valoryn and will physically try and stop them. Feel free to do with him as you see fit.

That works. That works perfectly. :3 This doesn't get to Valoryn, and I intend for Innaria to not make it to Skysong. She's going to be a casualty. Her and Lyeoth will end up kept behind. Innaria will be captured and kept in custody till Valoryn returns.
It is up to midnight if C'rey makes it. But Angel will be making it to Skysong with a Rider. I'm going to say that the Rebellion has roughly 20 Riding pairs, and at least 15 candidates/crafters. You can NPC a member of the Rebellion, or even make someone specifically to be part of it.
The overall event will end with Hope and Pain in it. But it's ok, because more then likely anyone that gets left at Fort, will be court marshalled and shipped off to another Weyr. Where they can then take off to Skysong.
Injuries and Deaths are highly likely in this. So if you'd like an injured party, PM me.
