(( Here we go folks, this is the escape plot. Midnight feel free to NPC G'ry in this, and then fill out a profile for him once escape has happened. Or you can just leave him completely out if you like. All people part of the Rebellion, and anyone they know that has wanted to leave... will be coming here. Other Riders that wish to make their escape a failure, are welcome to join. ))
Innaria knew that she would be either hated or revered for what she was doing. But she would never risk her dragon aching for the loss of her children. Never risk making others feel alienated because they were different. Mutations were not a reason for Segregation. There was herself and C'rey, and the blue rider. As well as nearly 20 other Riders, old and young. There was at least 10 crafters and candidates, all seeking escape.
Segregation by Mutation, was what they were calling it. The unfair crimes against those that are different. She was packed and ready to go. Anything of major importance was in her satchel. She saw everyone ready to go. Valoryn had left merely fifteen minutes ago. The Riders of the Rebellion were ready to leave this place of social stigmas. It was time to rise. Anyone that wishes to go, Our time is now! The gold exclaimed.
Riders and candidates, it was time to make your partnerships and get on dragon back. Time to take to the air. It was time to go to a new home.
(( Those that played spies, may start the attack, other NPCs will be added as the thread goes on. If you wish an injury, PM me so that I can make sure it happens.))

The time has come. Reylith informed Lind, who had been anxiously awaiting the message from the Brown dragon. With what belongings she wanted to take in a small carrying pack slung over her back she vaulted onto the Brown dragon’s back and he took off flying to where the meeting point was. We are here and ready. Reylith informed Lyeoth as he settled nearby. Lind didn’t bother dismounting, knowing they would be leaving momentarily, and for good.
The old Bronzerider Z’rey had planned for this night, knowing that the Junior Weyrwoman was a traitor and leading traitors from the Weyr. He was going to stop them in the name of Valoryn. No one would betray Fort Weyr or its Weyrwoman while he was still breathing. He knew where the meeting location was and headed there, with a determined grimace and a rider’s knife in his back pocket. He didn’t intend to use it unless he had too. He hoped the worst it came too was physical restraint. Z’rey would make sure that they did not succeed tonight.

C'rey had been tense for days, waiting for the moment when the rebellion would be set in motion. He conducted wing trainings as usual, trying his hardest to reveal nothing to his wingriders. To all appearances, C'rey was still the perfectly well behaved bronzerider.
Now! Ozinth announced triumphantly when he received Lyeoth's call. C'rey just nodded, picking up the small bag he had packed (pity that he had to leave so much clothing here) and going out onto the ledge. Minnie perched on his shoulder, quiet for once as she could sense the gravity of the situation. He mounted, and the bronze flew out into the weyrbowl to land beside the others.
Greetings, Lyeoth. C'rey and I are here, Ozinth told the Gold.
Ozinth was quickly followed by brown Vicodith, a diminutive brown with a large ego. Mounted on his back was G'ry, the Weyr's unfriendly Dragonhealer. G'ry just nodded at Innaria, not bothering to greet any of the other riders.

Riders of the Weyr! Halleth bugled. Traitors -- deserters are escaping! The big brown rose into the air, wings beating hard to lift him and his rider swiftly.
This rebellion... these complete traitors to the Weyr! There were more of them than K'tar thought there would be. How could they be so callous as to try to desert Fort Weyr? When there were precious few fighting dragons still left on Pern, and they were needed more than ever with Thread and Acid both falling, they were willing to abandon the holds under their protection, possibly to death by Thread, and go running off to this new Skysong -- just because they didn't agree with a few policies! How selfish could you get?
Halleth's eyes whirled deep orange. While he did not understand the depth and complexity of the political situation, he could sense his rider's indignation, and shared it. They were trying to run away from the Weyr and their duties. That was all the brown saw.
Thanks to his earlier spying, K'tar had known about where and when they would be leaving from. He'd taken a few... precautions. Just in case. No one wanted this to turn into dragon on dragon skirmishes, but he was prepared to intimidate or threaten as necessary to keep these turncoats on the ground. "None of you move!" he shouted from dragonback, and his Halleth echoed the sentiment into the minds of the dragons. The brown breathed out a small gout of flame, showing that he'd been chewing firestone earlier.
This could get ugly fast.

Innaria's back straightened as she raised her arm to the dragons gathered under her care. "Segregation by Mutation, is a crime in and of itself. It is our right to go to a place where we are better accepted and safe. Mutations are not welcome here...." The young woman said as her eyes narrowed, she motioned over the whole group of people there. "All of us are mutated, as mutated as our dragon..." She stated in a growling tone. She knew this wouldn't be easy.
She nodded to the Riders that were with her, and then glared at the ones gathering. "We will defend our Freedom!" She cried out. Throwing up her arm, and then up. That was the signal, the wing beneath her command took flight. Ignore the Brown Rider! I am your Queen, I demand you to get to safety! She screamed to the dragons as she took wing. Innaria now wished she had grabbed a flame thrower. But Lyeoth was huge, and a queen. They wouldn't attack her.
"G'ry Lead the small wing, guard the backs of the blues and greens taking the candidates out!" She screamed to the Brown Rider. "C'rey to my side, flank me with the two other bronzes. We will help G'ry and the other browns work with G'ry." She called out. Lyeoth released a bugle of defiance as she watched the first set of green and blue riders start taking off. The attack had begun.
With that Lyeoth took flight, throwing out her wings as she circled ahead. If a single dragon fights against me, they will regret it. I am a Queen, I order you to stand down. Do not attack those retreating, if you do so... I will not be responsible for the results. Her need to create freedom and survival, and her Riders urging was more then enough to make her try and force as peaceful of a resistance as possible. A screech slammed from the Golds maw though, as a dagger thunked into Innaria's shoulder.
Causing the Gold to veer and the Goldrider to scream in pain. So they wanted to play that way? Fine.
(( Anyone with a candidate that wished to flee Fort, just assume you did so. I'll be starting a post in the Weyrbowl of Skysong, with the rebellion NPCS of Green and Blue. Feel free to play NPCS attacking, or fleeing. You are all welcome to work in this. ))

The old Bronzerider Z’rey was relieved to see K’tar appear, and moments later Eranth landed near where the Brown dragon was and roared a challenge to the escaping dragons. Mine and I are with you Halleth. The old Bronze told the Brown. On the ground Z’rey went to help restrain anyone who was not yet taken flight and was still obtainable. While Eranth roared in protest of the Gold’s order as he fought her control to help his Rider, Z’rey was trying to restrain a Greenrider attempting to flee. He pulled out his knife when the rider grabbed him and had no choice but to stick the knife into the Greenrider’s belly, instantly being released while the Green bellowed in anguish and anger.
Lindora was in awe by all the commotion going on, the Brownrider knew it would be hard to escape but she hadn’t expected it escalating into throwing daggers. She was torn between helping the Junior Weyrwoman and her orders to get to safety and help the others. Lind knew that she had to help. Reylith get close to the ground.” The Brown dragon obeyed and Lind dropped down from his leg, landing on the ground with a thud. She went to the aid of a Bluerider being taken away and jumped on the loyalist Fort Rider and attempted to physical retrain him, while Reylith hissed a challenge to the other Brown dragon.

R'let, with Imp, and Blue Ionth Candidate Anka With Lyeoth's summons, Ionth was in the sky and making his way toward the Gold's position. R'let and His' half-sibling clung to his hide, while Imp circled around his left eye ridge, causing him to snort in distaste at the little jade's actions. Quiet him, Mine. We must get to Lyeoth and the others before the dragons are alerted! Ionth demanded, watching as Imp pulled away and disappeared beyond his sight. Go on, Ionth R'let sent, as the little firelizard wiggled into his normal place. By the time everyone was settled, Ionth informed R'let that they were about to be at the meeting place, which only caused the young Bluerider to chuckle. "We're almost there!" he whispered into Anka's ear, as she sat before him. As he spoke, the sound of a dragon bugling caught their attention, meaning that they had been spotted. Brown Halleth has sent up the call!! As the order from Lyeoth was sent out that they should start their jump, R'let pulled Ionth back. We can't fight this time, Ionth. Anka is with us and we must help the others with candidates and folk! R'let sent, causing his Blue to rumble in distaste. Good luck my brothers and sisters! Ionth sent to the Bronzes and Browns that went to Lyeoth's call. With one last look behind him, Ionth went between with the others, taking R'let and Anka to a new home.[/blockquote]

The fight was on now, Innaria yanked Lyeoth to the side, as she brought the gold to the defense of Green and blue. The gold buried her claws in the back of one of the dragons that was in flight against those fleeing. Yanking down and snapping his wings on the main wing joint, causing massive pain, but no long lasting damage if he wasn't an idiot. She was doing ehr best not to kill.. "DO not Kill them, doyou hear me!" She called out to her riders. "Whatever you do, do not kill. If they will kill, they will kill. We are NOT murders. We do not murder children while they sleep!" She cried.
She was referring to the eggs the Werywoman was smashign, that her whole party knew they were smashing. A week or two from now, Skysongs clutch would hatch, these folks would be having a place to live then, freedom. "Fly my love Fly!" She called out. I order you again, stand down! Or you will regret it! the gold called out her second warning. \
~~~~
Angel on the back of a rider, found her escape from Fort, finally. She didn't notice that in her escape, her firelizard got distracted by a pair of blue firelizards and skittered off. She'd catch up eventually, hopefully. Freedom was to be had at Skysong.
