The Gold firelizard blinked from between into the Weyrwoman’s private study, a scroll of parchment between her claws. She chirped several times in a pattern taught to her by her master. The chirps were a code signally that she had a message for the Weyrwoman’s eyes and her eyes alone. When she didn’t show up right away the gold firelizard dropped the scroll on her table and blinked back into between returning to her master. Once the scroll was unrolled it would read….

The Amethyst Queen has risen and flown far and high, making her rider the Weyrwoman of the Weyr they dubbed Skysong. The Queen has clutched producing what appears to be three new queens and several other eggs enough to fill their fighting wing and start another. It appears that the eggs will soon hatch now is the time to act or perhaps soon after once the eggs are hatched and perhaps the Weyr won’t be watched as close. I have enclosed a list of the Watchdragons rotations, and times most likely during the day the Queen goes to eat leaving the eggs unattended assuming her mate isn’t nearby.
