Character[/b]
Name: Innaria
Age: 24
Gender: Female
Rank: Jr. Weyrwoman of Fort Weyr (Journeywoman Jewelry Crafter)
Mutated?(If so what is their ability): She can sense the properties of the minerals that she holds in her hand. Knowing good ores from bad, and so on and so forth. Also though concentration she can increase the clarity of precious stones.
Location: Fort Weyr
Appearance:
Innaria has always been the runt of the litter, as her mother always put it. She was born the smallest, and the oddest, out of her large family. Most of the others in her family had lighter hair ranges, but Innaria always favored the grandmother she was named after. This girl is delicate, and petite, but don't let that fool you, she can be dangerous. Innaria stands at a max of Five feet and four. Her form is lithe, and compact, and perfect for riding dragonback. Or so she has been told, by her grandmother, time and time again.
Innaria has a face, that some could consider cute, but its not beautiful. She has well rounded features, that are well sculpted. Shes not a beauty, but she is cute and pretty, as some have called her. Her looks are set off by two rather open, dark green eyes. Her eyes being of that cool green color of lovely emerald. Darker hints of green dance through those depths, and they can get even darker when shes angry. Innaria's greatest feature, would have to be her hair though. Long and thick and black, these locks fall around her hips, and only add to her look.
Her favorite clothing to wear, are white shirts, with vests, and loose fitting pants. With more boot like shoes, that are wrapped to her legs. She has some jewelry that adorns her. Mostly a piece in her hair, a band that holds some hair together near her left ear. As well as stones that where made to affix to her ears. Overall, she is not what you would expect....
When she must she wears full Jewelry Crafter Regalia. Which includes some of her best works of art; a pair of blue green gemstone earrings in a silver set piece, A hair clip that pins her hair at the back of her head set with black and green stones, As well as an arm band thats a finely crafted silver engraved design, and a band chocker that bends to fit her neck properly. She often in this regalia wears a floor length dress, that is rather on the flattering side for her small frame. The dress is in Jewelery crafter colors, a silvery white.
Personality:
Quirky doesn't even begin to describe Innaria. She made up for her size, with mischief and trouble making. She has a sense of humor, and she knows how to use it. She loves to make others laugh, but she knows what it is to be serious. Her serious side is one that few see, but when its out, its out, and it stays out for awhile. Her serious side only comes about when its dearly needed. All around, shes a fun loving girl, and one that loves to play games.
Innaria has a sense of loyalty and a respect for her elders that runs deeper then any you may find. If you are a higher rank then her, she will listen to you no matter what you are telling her to do. It was ingrained into her, at a young age, to do so. Innaria also knows, that if you want freedom, you have to fight for it. That you shouldn't expect for it to be handed to you on a silver platter. She fought for all her freedom, and she led for it too, but it just made her the better person in the end. It didn't crush her spirit, it just made her better.
Her abilities in leadership run in her blood. Her grandmother once being a Gold Rider at another weyr, while her mother and father where both important standings of that same weyr. (Mother on Green -Assistant Weyrling Master-, Father on Bronze -WingSecond-). Innaria is a young woman, that when she is handed a task, she does her all to see it accomplished. She believes that anything is possible, if you just work hard enough for it.
When she gives you loyalty, it remains true. Protecting those around her is what matters most to her. She seeks nothing more then to make sure that everything will work out in the end. With Lyeoth's help she has managed to show Fort that she's pretty self-sufficient.
Though she can remain Loyal, she is only Loyal if she chooses. She hates discrimination based on who or what you are. People should be judged by their actions and merits, not their appearances.
History:
Innaria was born the youngest of Bronze Rider X'rin, and Green rider Amarin's ten children. Her oldest sibling being of the age of twenty five, when Innaria was born. She was raised in one of the more cramped Weyrs, and she fought for every freedom she got. Being born so far along in her mothers life, she was not exactly the healthiest of children. She was sick a lot when she was little, but she overcame these illnesses, and learned from them. She always wondered, why she was so different from her brothers and sisters.
Considering the fact they where all fair haired, or brown haired. While she was dark, and then her mother told her about her namesake grandmother, on her mothers side. Also the traditions of naming one daughter Innaria. Which apparently it stemmed off a long ago gold rider that was in the family.
She found out it was a tradition in her mothers family, and her fathers, of impressing and being riders. Innaria wanted to make her namesake proud, and she sought to be the second Gold rider in her family. She learned all she could about the weyrs, but as much good as she did, she did mischief. She just couldn't help it, she loved pulling pranks, it was just in her nature. Eventually, Foster Mother just got fed up with the Weyrleader, and Weyrwoman constantly berating her about her daughter. They shipped her off a craft hall, where she began her craft in Jewelry...
She was nine when this happened, and she worked her hardest in the craft. At first her attitude in the hall was not appreciated, but slowly, things got better. People began to expect her to be happy and hyper. Then that's when the hardships happened. When she was thirteen she was working her hardest against a fellow crafter. She was still an apprentice and so was he, and he decided to sabotage her premier piece. She had been laboring for a sennight, to craft the green blue stone to perfection. Had its set piece all ready, the chocker would be perfect.
But the competition snuck into her work room in the middle of the night, and destroyed her gem. She persevered and got another, started her work again, each time he would destroy it. Finally, she got fed up and waited for him one of the nights. She beat the tar out of him, and had him shipped out of the craft hall. She wanted her pieces to shine at all costs, but not at the cost of cheating. It was then that she started the path to truly mastering the craft.
Several turns later, she blossomed into a young woman. On the eve of her seventeen birthday, she walked the tables. She traveled then, with the Travelers, selling her wares. She would hole up for the winter at a hold with gems nearby, and would work all winter. Only to come out again, it was after her second holing up, that she saw a dragon in the sky.
Her dream to be the second Queen rider in her family was rekindled. But then she slowly realized, its not the dragon that makes you what you are, its what you do with your life. Shortly after that she traveled across the water, for a permanent change in her life. She started selling her wares at gathers, and slowly found her attraction to dragons increasing more and more. Finally she heard about the hatching's that where happening at Fort and decided a change was in store.
The next time a search rider came around she offered herself for consideration. She was accepted as a candidate, and worked as hard as she could. After being left standing three times, she impressed to the Mutated Gold Queen Lyeoth. Life was about to get interesting. Her Weyrling hood was shattered and odd. Lyeoth being steadily more odd and odd. She worked with the dragoness and her abilities, and sought to figure out how to make a safe haven for them.

Dragon Name: (must end in –th) Lyeoth
Dragon Color: Gold
Brief Personality:
Emotionally Volatile: usually Chatty, Pleasant, Flirtatious, sometimes Nervous, Sulking, Caustic
It's not that Lyeoth is bipolar, it's just that she has the tendency to slip into strong moods. With the changing of her moods comes the changing of her voice. The change is not a big one, but it is most certainly noticeable. Normally her voice is a pleasant tonality, full of regal bearing and rich undertones. It is the sound of a woman who knows she has power, and one who uses it to her full advantage. After all, what's the good of having power if you wont use it? And she certainly tries to use every ounce of power she has, which is admittedly, not a lot. For every moment her voice purrs out its flirty tones, there is an equal number of moments when her voice pitches into lower depths. It is then that her mood swings for the worse, becoming negative and sulking. She might keep to the shadows or simply refuse to leave the room for fear of something dreadful happening. It can be triggered by anything, though most often by comments on her appearance. Sensitive about the subject, Lyeoth will sulk over it for candlemarks at a time and will need to be coaxed out of her mood. But just as suddenly as she snaps into it, just as suddenly will she snap back out, instantly cheered by a kind gesture or compliment. This might make her shallow...and well, she is a bit. With a hide like hers, who could really blame her? Thankfully it is her regal and lovely voice that is heard most often, chiming into your mind with surprising clarity and grace. There is nothing like it, save for a Lady Holder who holds herself in high standings, viewing the world through cracked rose-colored glasse

Innaria stared at the ledge her dragon sunned upon. Her eyes half-closed, it was early morning, the sun just peeking over the horizon. The rays of light cascaded over the form of the red dragoness. Suddenly Innaria was hot, a heat she hadn't felt in so long. Her eyes snapped open fully, as did Lyeoth's. Lyeoth's eyes were a bright purple, raging purple and swirling with red and green. All at the same time, she felt lust and happy and angry all at once. The red was a molotov cockatil of emotions!
Innaria gasped, her hair flying around her wildly as she scrambled to get to the ledge. "Lyeoth WAIT!" She snarled as the red bunched up like a cat ready to pounce. The red Rider mounted quickly and the dragon leapt from the ledge with a hiss. Her emotions bright and vibrant, slamming through the minds of the males in the Weyr. She landed and Innaria dismounted, heading for the Flight rooms. A gasp flew from her lips, as she heard a small cry, Sin was rising too? No... this was not good! (Done in another thread)
Too many emotions! She shuddered and then her head tilted back. A cry of pure primal sound tore from her lips. She stalked off towards the Flight rooms, looking a female cat on the prowl. While Lyeoth hissed and now made her way towards where the Herdbeasts were kept. She would feast! She needed to make herself perfect for her males! She was just as good as any Queen! She would fly like one, or she wouldn't fly at all. Because of this mindset, and her Rider pushing her... the Red began to blood.
/You want to Fly like a queen, you'll blood like one! Innaria snarled in her dragons mind, forcing the dragon to hold off on the things she really wanted. She growled as she looked up at the sky, her eyes narrowed as she looked at the rising sun. Her dragon was feasting on blood, her hissing filling the air. Then suddenly Innaria heard the cry, and then she heard the scream of her dragons mating call.
ALL of you who DARE challenge me! May chase a Vibrant beauty like no other! Dare you test your mettle against a beauty such as I! The red called out, her snarling call filled the minds of any males awake, and hopefully awaking those that weren't. She wanted males, all the males. They were hers!
The winner would not only get her, but the body of her beloved Rider. A woman very beautiful, and beneficial to the Weyr! She was the maker of their weapons, the reason that they could fight more efficiently! It would have to be an amazing male indeed. Again the red screamed her call, a bugling call to awaken any still asleep. She was waiting to see who would gather.
